By accessing or using the Talos platform ("Platform", "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Service Description
Talos is an automated trading bot platform for cryptocurrency futures. The Platform connects to supported exchanges via user-provided API keys and executes trades based on pre-configured strategies. Talos does not hold, custody, or manage user funds directly.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You must comply with the laws and regulations of your jurisdiction regarding cryptocurrency trading.
- You are solely responsible for determining whether your use of the Platform is lawful in your jurisdiction.
3. Account & Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must use a strong, unique password and enable all available security features (including your security PIN).
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. API Keys
- The Platform requires read-only and trading API keys from supported exchanges. Withdrawal permissions are not accepted and will be rejected.
- API keys are encrypted at rest and decrypted only in memory during trade execution.
- You acknowledge that providing API keys grants the Platform permission to execute trades on your behalf according to your configured parameters.
5. Trading & Risk Disclosure
- Cryptocurrency trading involves substantial risk of loss. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
- The Platform executes trades automatically based on algorithms. No algorithm is infallible.
- You may lose part or all of your invested capital. Only trade with funds you can afford to lose.
- The Platform does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, or guarantees of any kind.
- Market conditions, exchange outages, API limitations, and technical issues may affect trade execution.
- You are solely responsible for your trading decisions, including pair selection, leverage, and contract size.
6. Fees
- License fee: A license is required to use the Platform. License types and pricing are displayed on the Platform.
- Performance fee: A percentage of realized profits is deducted automatically in internal tokens. The current rate is displayed on the Platform.
- No hidden fees. All fee structures are visible before activation.
- Fees are non-refundable once deducted.
7. Internal Token
- The Platform uses an internal token for operational purposes (fee deduction, license activation).
- The internal token has no value outside the Platform and is not a cryptocurrency, security, or financial instrument.
- Token balances are non-transferable between users.
- 1 token = 1 USDT equivalent (fixed rate, internal use only).
8. Referral Program
- Users may earn commissions by referring new users through the referral program.
- Commission rates and structure are displayed on the Platform and may change with prior notice.
- Referral commissions are tracked separately and can be withdrawn subject to minimum thresholds set by the Platform.
- Self-referral, fraudulent referrals, or manipulation of the referral system will result in account suspension and forfeiture of commissions.
9. Deposits & Withdrawals
- Deposits are made in supported cryptocurrencies to a unique wallet address generated for each user.
- Deposit confirmation requires blockchain confirmations as determined by the Platform.
- Withdrawal requests (referral commissions) are subject to manual processing and minimum thresholds.
- The Platform reserves the right to delay or reject withdrawals if fraud or abuse is suspected.
10. Prohibited Activities
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for money laundering, fraud, or any illegal activity.
- Attempt to exploit, reverse-engineer, or manipulate the Platform or its systems.
- Create multiple accounts to abuse promotions or referral programs.
- Interfere with other users' access to the Platform.
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to interact with the Platform (outside of intended functionality).
11. Availability & Maintenance
- The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available."
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance may occur. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance.
- Exchange downtime, API changes, or blockchain congestion are beyond our control.
12. Limitation of Liability
- The Platform, its operators, and affiliates are not liable for any trading losses, missed opportunities, or damages arising from the use of the Service.
- We are not liable for losses caused by exchange outages, API failures, market conditions, or events beyond our reasonable control.
- Our total liability, if any, is limited to the amount of license fees paid by you in the preceding 12 months.
13. Account Suspension & Termination
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in prohibited activities, or pose a risk to the Platform or other users.
- Upon termination, open positions remain on the exchange under your control. The Platform will cease automated trading.
- You may request account deletion at any time. Pending withdrawal requests will be processed before deletion.
14. Intellectual Property
- All content, software, and materials on the Platform are owned by or licensed to the Platform operator.
- You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.
15. Privacy
- Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
- We collect and process data as described in the Privacy Policy.
16. Changes to Terms
- We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the Platform.
- Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
- Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification.
17. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction of the Platform operator.
- Disputes will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration.
